As seen in Los Angeles Business Journal.

Entertainment Partners, a leader in entertainment payroll and production technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Carpenter, Chief Financial Officer of DIRECTV, to its Board of Managers.

Ray has held leadership positions across media, telecommunication, and advertising. He is known for overseeing transformative change initiatives, including new business launches, enterprise-wide finance improvements, and complex integrations, well positioning him to make significant contributions as EP continues to innovate and deliver market leading solutions.

In over 16 years with AT&T, Ray led teams with increasing responsibilities in financial planning, merger integration, investor relations, and as a divisional CFO. In partnership with TPG and AT&T, Ray led the operational and financial initiatives to fund and carve out DIRECTV as a standalone entity. He also served as the CFO of Xandr, a newly formed advertising company within AT&T that generated $2 billion in revenue while operating a global advertising marketplace.

As CFO of DIRECTV, Ray oversees all financial functions – focusing on driving value through optimal capital deployment, efficient operations, and data driven decisioning – in addition to leading DIRECTV’s Strategy, Corporate Development, and Sourcing functions.

“Entertainment Partners’ Executive Team, Board of Managers and I are thrilled to welcome Ray as our newest board member,” said Markham L. Goldstein, President & CEO of Entertainment Partners. “Ray’s expertise and innovative mindset will be instrumental as we position EP for growth and drive forward our vision for the future. This appointment underscores our commitment to excellence and leadership in the industry.”
