Western Australian Regional Screen Fund:

• Production funding up to a maximum of A$2 million, based on a 2:1 ratio of QWAE
  • Minimum Qualifying Western Australian Regional Expenditure of:
    • Scripted
      Productions – A$500,000
    • Documentary
      Productions – A$100,000.

• Western Australian Production Attraction Incentive
  • Grant of a minimum 10% of minimum Qualifying Western Australia Expenditure (QWAE)
  • Minimum Qualifying Western Australia Expenditure (QWAE) of AU$3.5M who meet certain distribution, economic, and cultural criteria; international productions that don’t meet this criteria may also be considered
  • Productions must have genuine marketplace interest and be footloose.

• Western Australian Post-Production, Digital & Visual Effects (PDV) incentive offers:
  • A 20% rebate on the first A$500,000 of Qualifying Western Australian Post Production Expenditure (up to $A100,000); and
  • A further 10% rebate for all Qualifying Western Australian Post Production Expenditure over A$500,000.
  • Minimum spend threshold of A$100,000

• Funding can be combined with the Australian Screen Production Incentive through the Location Offset, PDV Offset, Official Co-production, and Producer Offset.
