MFA Casting Portal
MFA is a security measure that requires multiple forms of identity verification before granting access to a system or account. By requiring multiple factors for authentication, MFA significantly enhances access security for critical systems because even if one factor is compromised (for example, a password being stolen), unauthorized access can still be prevented.
An MFA passcode is a unique one-time passcode generated by an authenticator, such as a mobile app or text message. This passcode is required in addition to your login credentials to access a system like Casting Portal.
If you haven’t already done so, you will be prompted to set up MFA when logging in to the platform.
On the MFA Welcome screen, click START, then scan the QR code to install the PingID Mobile app (default) or select another option for generating your MFA passcode under Other Authentication Methods. Find your complete guide here.
Once you have set up MFA, you will need to input your password and the unique one-time passcode generated by your chosen authenticator option to log in.
PingID is a secure app-based authentication method that employs industry-leading security measures and is compatible with most devices. Alternative MFA options are Google Authenticator and SMS-based authentication (text messaging).
