Global Vista MFA FAQs
As part of Entertainment Partners’ ongoing commitment to ensuring the highest levels of security for our clients and the industry, EP is implementing Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) across our solutions, including Classic Vista (CV), Global Vista (GV), Hosted Residuals, PDEP and SmartAccounting Corp 1.9.24 (SA Corp).
Multi-factor Authentication is a security measure that requires multiple forms of identity verification before granting access to a system. After entering your username and password, MFA requires you to enter an additional passcode when you sign in per cyber security best practices. Other than entering MFA, there will be no change to your sign-in experience.
The next time you sign in to your CV, GV, Hosted Residuals, PDEP, or SA Corp projects, you will be prompted to set up MFA. Setup only takes a few minutes and is a one-time process. You will choose an authenticator app to generate your MFA passcode, like Google or Microsoft Authenticator, or the Citrix Secure Access app on your mobile device. Then, you will use these same credentials and an MFA passcode for later sign-ins.
Note: CV, GV, Hosted Residuals, PDEP, and SA Corp use a sign-in architecture different from most EP products, like SmartPO or SmartStart. If you have MFA set up to access other EP products, you need a separate MFA instance to continue accessing these projects.
You can use Google Authenticator to generate MFA passcodes for all EP products.

MFA, which requires that you enter a one-time passcode when you sign in, enhances security and reduces the risk of unauthorized access by requiring an additional layer of verification to access accounts.
EP has identified the following options for an optimal experience:
For PC (Windows 10/Windows 11)
For MAC (Sonoma/Ventura/Monterey)
• Citrix Workspace Version 2405.11
MAC OS (Big Sur/Catalina)

The Enter Your Device Name field allows you to give your device a unique and recognizable name. This can help you keep track of where you have your Google Authenticator app, especially if you use multiple devices. For example, you might use "My Phone" or "Work Tablet.” Do not enter any special characters or you will get a system error and will not be able to proceed.
